Location: Hybrid (Minneapolis)
Hours: 20 hours per week; One full day in-office on Thursdays, three half days remote
Reports to: Associate Marketing Manager
About the Role
Saltbox Mgmt is looking for a motivated Marketing Intern to support our team over the summer. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creative work, wants hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing, and is eager to learn how marketing decisions take shape inside a growing organization.
You’ll work closely with the Associate Marketing Manager to help bring our brand to life across channels, support day-to-day marketing efforts, and turn rough ideas or inputs into polished, on-brand content.
Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Intern at Saltbox Mgmt, you’ll support a variety of initiatives, with a strong focus on visual execution and brand consistency, including:
Creating visual assets using Canva (and/or other design tools) for social posts, email headers, internal presentations, and light event collateral
Turning existing content, wins, and updates into simple, on-brand visuals and written copy
Assisting with basic video or motion tasks such as resizing, trimming, or formatting content for different channels
Supporting case studies and win stories by helping format content and prepare assets for promotion
Helping keep marketing information organized and up to date, including light data or content maintenance tasks
Applying Saltbox Mgmt’s brand voice and visual standards consistently across materials
Managing multiple tasks at once while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
Learning how messaging and visuals shift based on audience, including internal teams, partners, and customers
Helping maintain and organize marketing data and content, such as keeping trackers, calendars, or lists accurate and up to date
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
Current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, design, or a related field
Graphic design experience is a must (coursework, internships, or portfolio work all count)
Willing to take on new tasks, learn as you go, and adapt based on feedback.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to iterate based on feedback
Clear written communication skills and interest in brand and messaging
Organized, dependable, and able to manage time across multiple projects

During this internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside a B2B marketing team and contribute to real initiatives. You’ll leave with experience you can point to, including:
Exposure to the Salesforce partner ecosystem and how it supports B2B businesses worldwide
Hands-on experience using Salesforce Sales Cloud to support marketing and sales efforts
Experience supporting paid and organic marketing efforts, including assisting with ad creative and campaign execution
Practical experience using GPT and AI tools to support content creation, iteration, and internal workflows
A deeper understanding of how brand, messaging, and design come together across channels
Direct mentorship from an experienced marketing manager and regular feedback on your work
